Stacie Maxwell

Stacie Maxwell has served the self-storage industry since 2000, including a long tenure as VP of Marketing & Training at a leading self-storage management company, where she architected and scaled branding, marketing, and award-winning training initiatives supporting 70+ facilities. In 2024, she joined On The Move, Inc. as Director of Insurance, focused on driving growth and enhancing the tenant and operator experience through the SecureLease Tenant Protection Program. Known for her strategic insight, Stacie is a sought-after speaker, respected industry writer, and trusted advisor. She brings an operator-first mindset and kindness-first approach that helps storage teams win.

Before her self-storage career, Stacie gained valuable experience in management, corporate training, finance, and procurement across various industries. Stacie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science (BBS) in Art Education. She also earned the CSSM™ designation from the National Self Storage Association.

Beyond her professional achievements, Stacie enjoys spending time outdoors, kayaking, crocheting, cooking, and watching football. Her husband is in sales and also a tournament bass fisherman and avid UGA Bulldogs football fan. Stacie’s oldest son (“the Big”) is a former Marine and now a successful salesman, while her twins (“the Littles”) are still in school. Her son excels as a football player and championship wrestler, and her daughter is a standout track and cross-country runner. Stacie’s dedication to both her career and family reflects her passion for helping others achieve their best, whether in the self-storage industry or her personal life.
